essential to your portfolio.
We offer high quality
modeling images. Modeling
images are NOT glamour
photos! Do not confuse the
two. It could cost you dearly.
We use minimal artificial
photoshopping on your main
portfolio images. (see below
for more details)

A note to models
just starting out.

A while back I had a member
of my extended family
messaged me and told me
that one of her friends had
received a free modeling
session from a local
photographer. She sent me
the photo for me to take a
look at it. The first thing I
noticed was that the image
was very blurred (in
photoshop) and not a good
blur, but a very basic over
the top blur. There was no
detail left anywhere in her
skin or hair. It was like
looking through a fogged
lens. As if this wasn't awful
enough, the girl was sitting on
her side practically naked
(nothing showing though).
The way she was posed, it
offered no information about
her body type, proportions,
or any useful information a
casting director would need.
This was clearly a glamour
shot and not a modeling shot.
A modeling shot need to
show you are. And you
don't need to be naked.
The most revealing image
in a basic portfolio should
be a swimsuit image. (can
also be substituted with
lingerie at times - unless of
course you are going for the
maxim-playboy look then
that's a different story. But
assuming you are targeting
regular modeling, your
portfolio should consist of a:

-headshot
-3/4 length
-full length (fashion)
-full length (swimwear)

Once you have 4 solid shots
these poses who accurately
portray you, (or if you already
have these shots in your
portfolio) then you can start
to add more creative stuff to
it. Put yourself in the shoes
of an art director. If he has
to hire someone from another
city, perhaps even from
across the country and you
show up not looking like your
photos, odd are you will be
wasting his time and money
and more importantly...yours.
If the photo has clearly been
photoshopped (sloppy
photoshopping) the art director
probably won't even consider
you since he doesn't want to
risk wasting his time,
especially if he has a pile
with hundreds of other
individuals to choose from.

ex. 4 models at $500 each
total of (50) 8x10 prints divided by the number
of girls attending.

Both full resolution and web files are edited. No additional fee applies for digital files.
Full resolution files may be printed as large as you wish. For each full resolution file purchased, you will received the identical web version for online use. You may print as many copies of your full res file as you wish.

WEB SIZED FILES
Web sized files are only licensed for online use. They are not meant to be printed since the file does not contain enough data for printing. These are great Model Mayhem, OMP, Facebook, or even if you have a personal web page.
